Growing with purpose

The land is a big part of that. Through their biodynamic farms, gardens, and horticulture activities, people are involved in growing food, caring for plants, and working with the soil each day. It is practical, meaningful work that connects people not just to the land, but to each other.

It is about more than what is harvested. It is about building skills, fostering independence, and creating a shared sense of purpose through working together.

Soil as the foundation

At the centre of it all is healthy soil. It supports everything they grow and plays a key role in keeping their gardens productive and resilient.

Compost is a simple but important part of that, helping to improve soil structure and provide the nutrients plants need to thrive.

Hohepa uses BioRich across their gardens and growing spaces, supporting the health and consistency of their soil.
